This is a Bronze Age Holy Land Dipper Cup, 3rd-2nd millennium B.C. A small terracotta cup with a bulbous body, flared rim and loop handle. Provenance: From a UK collection; four examples acquired on the London art market in 2011; formerly from the collection of Raffi Brown, Zurich; one from the Coombes collection, Basildon, UK. The artefact is in fine condition with wear consistent with usage and measures 64mm tall x 65mm diameter.
