This is a Sassanian miniature Glass Vessel, c. 5th - 7th century A.D. A small mottled glass jar with a rolled rim and a globular body. Provenance: from the collection of Llewellyn Phillips, formed in Egypt during the early part of the 20th century. Although part of the rim is missing, the artefact is still in fine condition and measures 31mm tall x 25mm diameter.
