These are two Syro-Hittite ceramic Heads c. 1800 B.C. Two ceramic model heads with with pinched noses, one with a applied disc eye, both with a feather headdress, decoration to one side of each head, one with five holes to the side and the other with one hole. Provenance: Purchased from the estate of the late Patrick McKay; collected whilst working in the Middle East for the British Council during the 1950's and 1960's. The artefacts are in fine condition and measures 30mm and 39mm high.
