This is an Early Anglo Saxon Pottery Bowl, c. 6th Century A.D. A clay bowl with a squat globular body, everted rim, a tall neck, a horizontal linear decoration around the body and to the underside and a rounded base. Excavated in Suffolk. Provenance: ex-Amanda Barrie Collection. The artefact is in fine condition and measures 86mm tall x 95mm in diameter.
