These are two Viking (Kievan Rus) Knives, 9th century A.D. Two iron singled edged knives with tapering tangs to fit bone or wooden handles. Provenance: from a Northampton collection. The artefacts are in good condition, stabilised and measure 137mm – 145mm long.
