This is an Early Anglo Saxon Pottery Bowl, c. 6th Century A.D. A clay bowl with a squat globular body, everted rim, a horizontal linear decoration around the body and the underside, slightly rounded base and still displaying some of the original dried contents. Excavated in Suffolk. Provenance: ex-Amanda Barrie Collection. The artefact is in fine condition (chip to the underside) and measures 65mm tall x 100mm in diameter.
