This is an Early Anglo Saxon Pottery Bowl, c. 6th Century A.D. A dark clay bowl with a squat globular body, everted rim and a flat base. Excavated in Suffolk. Provenance: ex-Amanda Barrie Collection. The artefact is in fine condition (crack to the body) and measures 55mm tall x 118mm in diameter.
