NP COLLECTABLES

 

 

These are two Anglo-Saxon Buckles, c. 9th – 10th century A.D. Two openwork buckles cast in one piece with pointed and no grooved pin rest, D-shaped frames and with a second integral bar. Provenance: from an old Cheshire Collection acquired prior to 1950. The artefacts are in fine condition and measures 34mm and 43mm long.
