This is a pecked and ground Neolithic Narrow Convex Bladed Stone Axe Head, 3800 to 2500 B.C. found close to Exeter The axe has a narrow rounded butt with the sides being slightly convex in profile. Provenance: From an old Oxford, collection; formed before 1980. The artefact is in very fine condition and measures 104mm long.
