This is a carefully worked bifacial Neolithic blue grey/brown flint Knife, c.3000 B.C. The artefact is fresh and sharp with minimal abrasion or post-depositional edge damage, re-chipped. The axehead was discovered at West Acre, Norfolk. Provenance: Old Norfolk Collection, collected in 1979. The artefact is in very fine condition and measures 63mm x 48mm.
