This is a carefully worked large Neolithic grey flint Cutting Blade with a Chisel end, c.3000 B.C. The artefact is fresh and sharp with minimal abrasion or post-depositional edge damage. The tool was discovered at Swaffham, Norfolk. Provenance: Old Norfolk Collection, collected in 1979. The artefact is in very fine condition and measures 74mm x 60mm x 13mm.
