This is a carefully worked bifacial Neolithic grey flint Cutting Blade, c.3000 B.C. The artefact is fresh and sharp with minimal abrasion or post-depositional edge damage. The blade was discovered at South Acre, Norfolk. Provenance: Old Norfolk Collection, collected during 1960s. The artefact is in very fine condition and measures 66mm x 64mm.
