This is a carefully worked polished Neolithic grey flint spearhead, c.3000 B.C. The artefact is fresh and sharp with minimal abrasion or post-depositional edge damage. The spearhead was discovered at South Acre, Norfolk. Provenance: Old Norfolk Collection, collected during 1960s. The artefact is in very fine condition (the butt/tang was possibly broken off in antiquity) and measures 134mm long.
