This is a Pre-Columbian Chavin Culture Terracotta Bowl from the North Coast of Peru, c.300 B.C. A terracotta bowl, an orange/red background and banded in black. Provenance: Ex Private Derby Pre-Columbian collection. The artefact measures 65mm tall x 115mm in diameter. The bowl is intact and in fine condition, some surface chipping to the rim.
