This is a Mayan Brownware Dish, showing distinct Teotihuacan influence with a curved base and decorated on the interior with abstract symmetrical design. Mayan territories, Yucatan Peninsula, c.400 - 600 AD. Provenance: Gorny and Mosch, Munich. The artefact is complete and intact (crack and flake chip to rim) and measures 226mm wide a 55mm tall.
