This is a Pre-Columbian Blade Handle Vessel, Tayrona Culture, Colombia Region of Sierra Nevada de Santa Marta -600 B.C. - 1500 A.D. A terracotta vessel with a large bladed body possibly in the form of a stylised bird and two small pierced handles. Provenance: From a private Museum collection of the late Mr Brian William Hooper. The artefact is in fine condition and measures 140mm tall.
