This is a heavily patinated with tannic river stain chert Hafted Lancet Blade made on a flake from the Late Paleo Period (c.10000 to 12000 BC). The artefact was recovered from the Flint River in Dougherty County, Georgia and measures 56mm x 30mm. This is an interesting piece to add to any Paleo collection. The full history will be passed onto the buyer.
