This is a very attractive scraper from the Early Archaic Period 8000 to 6500 BC made from grey chert. The artefact measures 41mm x 24mm. The scraper is from the Columbia River Basin and was probably used to process salmon. It has been beautifully worked and is still very sharp. Full history to the purchaser.
