Chert blade showing signs of having been salvaged and anciently re-worked back into a working tool. From the Late Archaic Period, 2,000 to 1,000 BC, Arkansas, Benton Co. and measures 38mm x 18mm. The artefact formed part of an old collection and was collected in the late 1800s. The site consisted of several ancient caves and was authenticated by the University of Arkansas.
