This is a Neolithic triangular-section Stone Projectile Point, 6th millennium B.C. The point was discovered close to Cyrenaica north-east Libya. The artefact is fresh and sharp with minimal abrasion or post-depositional edge damage. Provenance: From an important London collection, acquired in the 1990s. The artefact is in very fine condition and measures 77mm x 13mm.
