This is a pecked and ground Neolithic Stone Axe Head from North West Sahara, c.6000-4000 B.C. Provenance: from an old Oxford collection. The tool is complete, a good size and has been finely worked, in good condition and measures 124mm x 52mm x 23mm thick.
