This is an arrowhead, North-Western Africa, late Neolithic period, c.4000 B.C. A bifacial barbed and tanged arrowhead worked from a grey chert. Provenance: ex- Arthur Halcrow Versage Collection, Reigate, Surrey. The artefact is in very fine condition and measures 27mm x 15mm. The image shows both sides of the arrowhead.
