This is a Han Dynasty Figure of Court Lady, 202 B.C. – 220 A.D. A large Chinese Tang Dynasty pottery female standing attendant holding her arms in front of her body in a humble posture, hair style drawn into a ponytail and retaining some of natural red, white and black pigment. Provenance: from an old Edinburgh Oriental Collection. The artefact is in fine condition and measures 377mm tall.
