This is a Chinese Bronze Dagger Axe Head, Han Dynasty, 206 B.C.– 220 A.D. A verdigris patinated bronze dagger-shaped blade, once mounted by its tang to a perpendicular wooden shaft. Provenance: formerly from the collection of the late Frederick Sydney Clark (1923-2016) bearing the 'F.S. Clark Collection' label detailed 'China 94-12'. The artefact is in fine condition and measures 177mm long.
