This is a Japanese bronze hand mirror, Meiji period, 19th century. A Japanese bronze mirror with crane and turtle decoration amongst the three friends of winter of prunus, pine and bamboo. Provenance: Ex Private Bristol Far Eastern collection. The artefact is in very fine condition, weighs 565gms and measures 320mm long x 230mm diameter.
