This is a Chinese Ceramic Pot, Yuan Dynasty, c.1279 – 1368 A.D. A beige ceramic twin handled pot with a narrow-rolled neck and a bulbous body. Recovered from the wreck site of an unidentified Chinese trading vessel that sank off the coast of present-day Indonesia. Provenance: from World Treasure Books Gallery, Newport, Isle of Wight (with Certificate of Authenticity). The artefact is in fine condition and measures 70mm diameter x 65mm high.
