Wiltshire based sculptor and artist. Born in Birmingham in 1945, he attended Moseley School of Art at the age of twelve and then went on to Birmingham College of Art at sixteen. He has exhibited in London and has also sold work through established auction houses, including Sotheby’s.
Ron Holmes works from his studio deep within the countryside of north Wiltshire, UK. After attending, Moseley Road School of Art, he has been producing high quality paintings, drawings and sculpture for over 40 years. Over recent years he has cultivated his love of sculpture, drawing on traditional and modernist influences to create many representational and abstract pieces experimenting with both scale and medium. His work is held in numerous private collections across the UK.
