This is an unusual Head Hunter ceremonial vessel, 19th century from Borneo. A hand carved ceremonial vessel with a decoration of scrolls, with figural seated figure to top and with matching handles. Provenance: From an old Bristol collection. The artefact is in very fine condition and measures 210mm tall.
