This is a well detailed museum quality reproduction of a Juvenile Cave Bear Skull, Ursus Spelaeus from the Pleistocene (1 million years) of Russia. Ursus spelaeus was a species of bear which lived in Europe during the Pleistocene and became extinct at the beginning of the Last Glacial Maximum about 27,500 years ago. This is cast of the original from a private collection. The replica measures 280mm (11 inches) long.
