This is a museum quality reproduction of the small flying reptile Pterodactylus kocki. The original fossil came from the Middle Jurassic Period of the famous Solnhofen beds Eichstatt, Germany. Certain fossils are just too costly and some are one-of-a-kind specimens that can only be viewed at museums.
