This is a well detailed museum quality reproduction of a Allaeochelys crassesculptata Turtle from the Geiseltalion Period (50 million years) of Messel area, Germany. The Messel area was covered by a large series of lakes which were surrounded by lush sub-tropical forests. The reproduction Turtle measures 235mm x 172mm on a matrix of 310mm x 257mm.
