Obv: laureate head of Saturn right with symbol above (wheel?) with harpa and PISO CAEPIO Q behind and below.
Rev: the two quaestors seated between two ears of corn with AD FRV EMV / EX S C in two lines in exergue.
Sear 210; Cr. 330/1; Syd. 603; BMC 1128; RSC Calpurnia 5a.
This type was issued on instructions of the Senate to fulfil the provisions of the law allowing people to buy corn at a fixed price.
