This is a carefully worked large Neolithic grey/brown flint Scraper/Blade, c.3000 B.C. The artefact is fresh and sharp with minimal abrasion or post-depositional edge damage. The axehead was discovered at Castle Acre, Norfolk. Provenance: Old Norfolk Collection, collected during 1960s. The artefact is in very fine condition and measures 72mm x 68mm x 21mm.
