This is a Neanderthal Scraper from a white/grey flint, c. 80,000 years ago. The scraper was discovered close to Munford village, Norfolk, UK. The artefact is fresh with minimal abrasion or post-depositional edge damage. Provenance: ex- Arthur Halcrow Versage Collection, Reigate, Surrey. The artefact measures 60mm x 57mm x 21mm.
